WOW, what a success!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in the auction -- to the families, teachers, and staff who donated items and are hosting events, to the local businesses who donated, and of course to everyone who bid on items and purchased event tickets!
Last year's inaugural auction was a tremendous success, raising $10,000; more than double the $4,000 goal!. This year's goal was $7,000 (a realistic and yet still ambitious goal) and we are beyond ecstatic that the auction raised more than double that amount, close to $16,000!
Funds raised from the Silent Auction (and SLP Read$) ensures:
- 100% of field trips are free (with more field trips added this year)
- yearbooks at no cost for every student
- all events are free (such as Fall Festival, Festival of Nations, Math Night, Student Showcase, June Jamboree)
- the PTO supports staff appreciation events and other staff requests
- our students get to taste and get their hands dirty in an incredible school garden
- the PTO's student directory is a free online resource for families to connect
- and much more!
Susan Lindgren Elementary is unique - most other schools ask families to pay for field trips and yearbooks in addition to the annual fundraisers. Thank you for making these opportunities equitable for all of our students at Susan Lindgren!
Grade-Level Parties are ON!
Thanks to sponsorships, each grade will get to have a special grade-level party this spring for ALL students! You will hear more details from your teacher leading up to the party. Thanks for your support!

Event Tickets Extended until Friday, March 29
Some families asked if they could still purchase tickets to events, so we've extended the closing date for any events with tickets remaining until this Friday, March 29. You can purchase tickets to those events on the event website.
Item Pick Up & Ticketed Events
Q: What should I do if I haven't picked up my item yet?
A: If you weren't able to attend the pick up at the library last weekend, please reach out to Sarah Scott at sarahg987@hotmail.com to connect about your item.
Q: What if I got tickets to an Experience?
A: Look for an email from one of the hosts as the date approaches with all the info you'll need for participation. Please ensure the email attached to your auction account is current.
